Lucerne Tower, the headquarters of dataDyne

Founded by Zhang Li and headed by CEO Cassandra De Vries, dataDyne's rise is secluded in mystery, but now it is well known for its huge funding projects and private military activities, similarly to the Carrington Institute. However, the corporation itself is also known for its dodgy criminal activities, which had put it under the spotlight of the Institute whom Daniel Carrington launched mission investigations in its practices for Joanna Dark and her allies in an attempt to stop dataDyne in its tracks, setting the main story of Perfect Dark. It's first mission even takes place there.

The organization has its own personal staff base, including a major research team, a vast army of military-trained personnel, personal bodyguards, and a fleet of venerable vehicles. By 2020 they had bought the entirety of Brazil.

The Skedar are dataDyne's allies, though it is eventually revealed that they intended to betray them and vice versa.

After Carrington Institute: Defense, the dataDyne forces became completely exhausted. The corrupt corporation is ultimately destroyed for good when Mr. Blonde put a powerful Skedar Bomb on the elevator connecting the labs upon capturing Cassandra for her failures and "crimes against the Skedar", in the mid-story bonus mission Mr. Blonde's Revenge.
