Hit and Run is a simulant buddy that can appear in Perfect Dark's Co-Op mode. He is a tall bearded man resembling Stanley Grimshaw of the Carrington Institute, wearing a Mr. Blonde overcoat. He can be unlocked by completing the Carrington Villa: Hostage One in under 2:30 on Special Agent.
Analysis
Hit and Run, as his name implies, will shoot at an enemy, dash away for cover, and then shoot again, an identical tactic to Mr. Blonde guards. Like some of them, his weapon of choice is the K7 Avenger, a devastating assault rifle. The distance he runs around is increased when he is set to Aggressive; when Passive, he will still run after shooting, but will still stay within the player's general vicinity. Due to his Mr. Blonde-like appearance, he runs the fastest among all Buddies and his reaction speed upon firing is quicker than most enemy guards.
Voice Clips
Hit and Run's voice clips are shared with the generic male enemies that are encountered during the missions. He uses an aggressive set of voice clips that can be heard on certain enemies. Unlike the ones encountered, Hit and Run doesn't have any lines said when he is killed to prevent any shame upon the player's ally's death.

Trivia
- Hit and Run will define his enemies as female regardless of gender or race when he spots them. This is due to his voice clips being shared with generic male enemies and that they are meant to be used towards Joanna Dark.
- He is essentially the permanent ally version of the Mr. Blondes seen in Air Force One and Crash Site. For this reason, Hit and Run is considered a good-alignment counterpart of the Skedar.
- As he wields the K7 Avenger, which is capable of firing at 950 rounds per minute, Hit and Run has the strongest automatic weapon among all the Perfect Buddies, therefore he rivals Alien in overall performance at killing heavily armed foes (though the Maian's RC-P120 submachine gun outclasses at 1100RPM fire rate).
- There is a glitch that occasionally occurs with Hit and Run that will cause him to stop and aim at Joanna instead of enemies. He will not fire at the player, though. This is because the Mr. Blonde enemy is used as a host for the Buddy character and still has its AI programming. This can be fixed by using the Stealth command, as he will return to normal behavior afterwards.
- When Hit and Run is shot and wounded, he will bleed orange blood, which is the same as that of the Skedar's, due to his body sharing that of Mr. Blondes.
- In the Mr. Blonde's Revenge bonus mission, if selected as the Co-Op Buddy, Hit and Run will become an actual Mr. Blonde (though this also applies to the other Buddies, each having their own unique weapons).
